History

In 1993 David and Theresa Smith decided to open Furlong Pine, a small and traditional pine shop situated in the quaint Furlong Shopping Centre in Ringwood.

Over the next 17 years the shop has grown into a two story purpose built furniture store with a variety of living, dining, kitchen, bedroom and occasional furniture. In 2004 the name was changed from Furlong Pine to Furlong Furniture to accommodate for the mix of contemporary and traditional furniture in oak, pine, beech, mahogany and other materials that the store offers. We have now grown into one of the largest furniture stores in the south with quality furniture at competitive prices offered with a highly professional efficient service.

However, Furlong Furniture has not lost its personal and friendly touch. You will be greeted at the new showrooms or on delivery, by one of nine members of friendly staff, which include David and Theresa's two youngest children Amy-Jane and Christian. In addition, the original shop that David and Theresa opened all those years ago has been retained as the Furlong Furniture Outlet; where you're sure to find a bargain.

As the business has grown so has David and Theresa's family with four children and two grandchildren therefore we need as many furniture sales as possible!!!
